The use of colors themes is an important part of the design of any webpage. Traditionally there are a number of color combinations that are considered particularly pleasing for people. These are called color chords and consists of two or more colors with a fixed relation in the color wheel.

To create a color scheme we start by selecting a base color. The base color is used to calculate a set of harmonious colors. The base color could be the color of your company logo, a color that communicates the underlying message of your design, or simply a color that you find pleasing.
